Library Lab: Entrepreneurship events from February to July 2012!
In partnership with New Windows on Willesden Green, Architecture 00:/ has set up the new Library Lab in Willesden Green Library Centre. Library Lab is open until July, offering free workshops, lectures, and a pop-up co-working space aimed at accelerating local entrepreneurship in the Brent community.
Library Lab is currently open Monday – Friday, 2-6pm.
We’ve planned out the first series of events, but stay tuned because we’ll be adding new things all the time…

Migrants’ Rights Network is organising a community exhibition at the Library Lab in Willesden Green Library Centre. The exhibition will be about your experiences of living in Brent and making it home.

“Coaching drop in sessions” | Matthew Mehra
Drop in sessions for local migrants who have an entrepreneurial idea, but don’t know where to start. By helping to search a range of relevant information and acting as an advocate, it is hoped that the person will become aware of any barriers and opportunities that may present themselves. Through continued support and developing relationships, the aim is to help build confidence that will give members of the migrant community a head start in realizing their objective.

This is a space for you to explore your creative and business ideas and use our resources and networks to develop them. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to make it happen!
One Suit at a Time: for women looking for employment and want support in job-hunting and preparing for interviews.This will be a space where you can look for jobs, get a second opinion on applications and your CV and talk about your goals. Join us to talk through the role, practice interview questions and pick up some free interview-appropriate clothes from our collection. We want to help you feel confident on the inside and out!

“Design Surgery 2.0” | Yogesh Taylor
