Robin Howie

Robin Howie is an independent and multi-disciplinary designer working across graphic design, interactions, interventions and environments; he set up his own independent studio after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2010. The studio’s current clients include; Tate Modern, UK Sport, Nice Shirt Films, Revival, Royal College of Art & Agora Arts (Taiwan).

Robin aim’s to not be bound by any particular discipline when approaching projects, an idea can lead to communicating through any medium; whether it’s through a printed page, or designing specific services or even designing immersive experiences that form interventions in our daily lives. Robin believes that design ought to create conversations that have an effect in the social fabric that we live in; he see’s his role as a designer as a role of citizenship.

Robin has been commended nationally and internationally in press and awards for his work, he has lectured at Camberwell College of Art and Kingston University, and written for the magazines Grafik and ARC.
